Col. Scott Boatright is the commander of the 122nd Fighter Wing, Fort Wayne Air National Guard Base, Indiana. He organizes, trains and equips more than 1,000 professional Airmen, providing decisive firepower and agile combat support to combatant commanders worldwide. Col. Boatright executes an annual budget in excess of $70 million. He formulates plans and policies for flying operations, aircraft maintenance, mission support and medical agencies across the wing. Col. Boatright coordinates requirements at the local, state and national levels and he is accountable for policies pertaining to operations, personnel, equipment, funds and real property.
Chief Master Sgt. Kyle D. Hoopingarner is the Wing Command Chief for the 122nd Fighter Wing, Indiana Air National Guard, Fort Wayne, Indiana. As the Wing Command Chief, he is the senior enlisted advisor and is responsible for advising commanders and staff on mission effectiveness, professional development, military readiness, training, utilization, health, morale and welfare of the Wing’s enlisted Airmen and takes action to address and correct shortfalls and challenges. He is also responsible for providing leadership to all enlisted personnel and is the functional manager for Group Superintendents and First Sergeants within the Fighter Wing.
