To request a tour, please download and fill out the Base Tour Request Form and send it to 122.FW.FW.PA.Org@us.af.mil

Base tours are offered to community partners, local civic organizations, schools and youth groups to educate and inspire people about the mission of the Indiana Air National Guard.

Please allow at least 30 days prior to requesting a tour to allow time for approval and visitor processing. Visitors who are 18 or older will need to provide a U.S. government-approved ID, such as a driver's license, for base access.

To request support, please complete an AF IMT 833 and email to:

This form is required for your request to be considered and will be supported on a priority basis. All requests must be in support of official government requirements. 

As a community-based organization, the 122nd Fighter Wing and its Airmen are extensively involved in local community organizations and often participate in the events they support.  

To request 122nd Fighter Wing participation or volunteers to support your organization's special event, please complete DD Form 2536 (Request for Armed Forces Participation in Public Events)
and send to 122.FW.FW.PA.Org@us.af.mil 

Submission Deadline: 60 days prior to event

* The Air National Guard, as a government institution, refrains from endorsing specific organizations or events that it does not officially sponsor. Instead, it is up to the individual Guard members to decide whether they volunteer their time. Additionally, there are a number of state and federal restrictions on how we can support organizations and events. *

The roaring thunder of our aircraft overhead often kindles goosebumps and a spirit of patriotism for the audience! Requesting a flyover requires several steps, but it is well worth coordinating in advance.

Follow the steps below to create an official request. Please note that you must obtain both Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Defense (DoD) approval before flying units can volunteer for your event. It is recommended to begun the request process no later than 45-60 days in advance of your event.

1. Begin by going to the Air Force aerial events website at https://www.airshows.pa.hq.af.mil/. Follow the steps online to submit your DD Form 2535 requesting approval for your Aerial Event.

** Please do not use this form to request flyovers for military funeral honors. Information on requesting military funeral honors support may be found at https://www.militaryonesource.mil/leaders-service-providers/casualty-assistance/military-funeral-honors/.

2. Fill out DD Form 2535.

3. With your portion of the form completed, please send your request to the appropriate FAA Flight Standards District Office for air space approval. If you are not sure which FSDO serves your area, you can find this by going to https://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/field_offices/fsdo/.

4. Once you have your completed form with FAA approval, you are now ready to submit your request to the DoD.  You can do this by emailing the completed DD 2535 to AerialEvents@us.af.mil.

5. After you have received an approval number from the DoD on the Aerial Events website, you may begin to contact nearby flying units to request flyover support. If you wish to submit your request to the 122nd Fighter Wing, please forward your approved DD2535 form to the 122nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs office at: 122.FW.FW.PA.ORG@US.AF.MIL

The 122nd Fighter Wing has been a valued part of the local community since 1954. As we train everyday to defend our community, state, and nation, we understand that aircraft engines and firing ranges generate tremendous amounts of noise that may occasionally cause a disturbance.

If you have a noise complaint, we would love to hear from you. Please gather as much information as you can so we can appropriately address your concern. Include helpful details such as the date and time of the incident, type of noise, number of aircraft involved, direction the aircraft was traveling, and a general description of the aircraft (type, color, size, etc.).
