Defenders Return to the Fort

FORT WAYNE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Ind. – Senior Airman Aaron Strebig, 122nd Fighter Wing, Security Forces, embraces his family as the 122nd Fighter Wing welcomed home more than two-dozen members from the 122nd Security Forces Squadron, as they returned from a six-month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, January 23, 2015 at the Fort Wayne International Airport. Twenty-six Blacksnakes mobilized for this deployment and were assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The group spent one month in San Antonio conducting combat preparation, then transitioned to Qatar for six months.
