Base tours are offered to Community Partners, local civic organizations, schools and youth groups to educate and inspire people about the mission of the Indiana Air National Guard. 

To request a tour, please download and fill out the Base Tour Request Form and send it to 122.FW.FW.PA.Org@us.af.mil

Submission Deadline: At least 30 days prior. 

To request a guest speaker from the 122nd Fighter Wing, event organizers should submit a completed DD Form 2536 (Request for Armed Forces Participation in Public Events) to 122.FW.FW.PA.Org@us.af.mil

Please follow these steps below to create an official request. You must gain FAA and DOD approval by going to the Air Force aerial events website at https://www.airshows.pa.hq.af.mil/PublicSite/index.cfm?fwa=home. Follow the steps online to submit your DD Form 2535 requesting approval for your Aerial Event.

1. Fill  out DD Form 2535: https://www.esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Documents/DD/forms/dd/dd2535.pdf
2. With your portion of the form completed, please send your request to the appropriate FAA Flight Standards District Office for air space approval.  If you are not sure which FSDO serves your area, you can find this by going to https://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/field_offices/fsdo/.
3. Once you have your completed form with FAA approval, you are now ready to submit your request to the DOD for approval.  You can do this by emailing the completed DD 2535 to AerialEvents@us.af.mil.
5. After you have received an approval number from the DOD, you are then ready to contact surrounding flying units to request flyover support.  If you wish to submit your request to the 122nd Fighter Wing, please forward your approved DD2535 form to the 122nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs office at: 122.FW.FW.PA.ORG@US.AF.MIL
6. Submission Deadline: 60 days prior to event.

* Please note flyover requests for civilian events may be limited to one of the five Patriotic Holidays traditionally supported by the service. Those events are: Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, POW/MIA Day, and Veterans Day, as well as for airshows and other aviation themed events. In addition, national-level sporting events will also be considered for eligibility. All other events will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

** Please do not use this form to request flyovers for military funeral honors. Information on requesting military funeral honors support may be found at https://www.militaryonesource.mil/leaders-service-providers/casualty-assistance/military-funeral-honors/.

As a community-based organization, the 122nd Fighter Wing and its Airmen are extensively involved in local community organizations and often participate in, or support, the events they sponsor.  

To request 122nd Fighter Wing to participate in or support your organizations special event with volunteers, a completed DD Form 2536 (Request for Armed Forces Participation in Public Events) should be sent to 122.FW.FW.PA.Org@us.af.mil

* The Air National Guard, as a government institution, refrains from endorsing specific organizations or events that it does not officially sponsor. Instead, it is up to the individual Guard members to decide whether they volunteer their time. Additionally, there are a number of state and federal restrictions on how we can support organizations and events.
